In August of 1989, inspired by their own recent marriage, Jim and Denise Frericks began Jadlyn Wedding Consultants to help fill the need for knowledgeable wedding planners in the Akron/Canton area. In September of 1990, they had grown enough to incorporate, becoming Jadlyn Incorporated. Contact with local brides and bridal-related merchants led them to realize a greater need for a local informational resource for engaged couples. Thus, To
day's Bride Magazine and Bridal Shows were born. And NOW in 2007 Jadlyn Incorporated/Today's Bride is proud to celebrate 18 years in the wedding industry and is widely considered the " bridal authority" in the Northeast Ohio area.

Meet the Today's Bride Team
Jim Frericks
has a strong background in print and promotional advertising. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University with a minor in radio, television, and film. During college summer breaks, he worked at a radio station and upon graduating in 1985 returned to his hometown of Circleville, Ohio, to work for the local newspaper. Two years later Jim moved to Akron to work for yet another newspaper, then moved on to WOOD 96.5 FM radio. In October 1989, he chose to devote himself full-time to Jadlyn Incorporated.
Denise Frericks
holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Akron, with an emphasis in Marketing. She also holds Associate's degrees in Transportation and Data Processing. After college, she worked for two years as a corporate accounts representative for Computerland, then moved to Computer Task Group, a software services consulting firm where she sold consulting services to Fortune 500 companies for five years. In 1991, she joined Jim in working full-time for Jadlyn Incorporated.
Together, Denise and Jim combined their entrepreneurial spirit, managerial style and creative vision with the area's leading talent to build Today's Bride to be Ohio's largest bridal marketing group.
Jennifer Judy Fyffe
joined Jadlyn Incorporated in 1994 as an account executive and was promoted to Bridal Show Manger in 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Akron. Jennifer currently serves as a Board Member of Bridal Show Producers International, the trade association for the bridal show industry. Sought after for her vast wedding expertise, Jennifer has made numerous special guest appearances on local television affiliates ABC, NBC, FOX and CW networks.
